Determining the Construct Validity and Reliability of Philanthropic Behaviour Scale using Rasch Model

This paper empirically analyzes the validity and reliability of philanthropic behaviour measurement items using Rasch Model. The survey is grounded on Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) but extends to include other relevant factors, thus items’ need be confirmed. instrument consists 40 vested under seven dimensions; attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, altruism, financial stability, religiosity trust. Based analysis, item polarity indicates that point measure correlation for measuring determinants behavior between 0.26 0.60. Overall separation 0.97 6.05 respectively, while person 0.85 2.34 considered good productive intended measurement. In terms fit, results show only five are found misfit further scrutinization prior removal items.
